XP_AddAdministrator.exe Enable Administrator account on Welcome Screen
Doug Knox - 11/11/2002

The original VB Script has been replaced by a Visual Basic program.  The functionality is the same. This script is only for use on Windows XP. You must have Administrator level access to use this utility.

Note: This utility will only work if the Administrator account is named "Administrator".  Additionally, you can only log into the Administrator account in Safe Mode, if you're running Windows XP Home Edition.

To use: Download the XP_AddAdministrator.zip file and save it to your hard drive (you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Open the ZIP file you just downloaded and extract the contents to your hard disk.  Double click the EXE file that you extracted to run the utility.  This utility will allow you to toggle the Administrator account to Enabled or Disabled (on the Welcome Screen), depending on its current state.
